What we collect

When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect:

Your name (so we don’t have to call you “Player One”).
Your email address (so we can actually send you stuff).
Maybe your interests (e.g. “mystery lover” or “general gamer”) if we add that option later.

Our legal basis for using your data

Under UK and EU data protection laws, we must tell you the legal reason we use your data:

Consent: When you sign up for our newsletter, you give us permission to email you.
Legitimate Interests: We may occasionally prune or maintain our subscriber list to keep things up to date.

You can withdraw your consent at any time (unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email).

How we use it

We’ll use your details to:

Send you newsletters and updates about our games.
Occasionally share promotions, special offers, or announcements — all bundled into the same newsletter (no spammy daily blasts, we promise).

How we send emails

We use third party email marketing to send out our newsletters. That means they (MailerLite) processes your data on our behalf (they keep it safe and GDPR-compliant).

International transfers

Wix may process your data outside the UK and EU (for example, in Israel or the US). These transfers are protected by legal safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Who we share it with

No shady data brokers, no third parties — just Wix, because they provide the platform and the aforementioned email marketing providers. Otherwise, your data stays with us.

How long we keep it

We’ll keep your info until you unsubscribe. If you don’t open our emails for a long time, we may remove you from the list during our regular clean-ups (at least once every 12 months).

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (and GDPR if you’re in the EU), you have the right to:

Unsubscribe anytime.
Ask what info we hold on you.
Ask us to correct or delete your info.
Ask us to stop using your info (restrict processing).
Ask us to send your info to you or another provider (data portability).
Object to how we use your info (especially for marketing).
Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you’re unhappy with how we handle your data.

Children’s data

Our newsletters are for grown-up players.

We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 years old. If you’re under 13, please don’t sign up.
If you’re between 13 and 16, some countries (like in the EU) say you need a parent or guardian’s permission. If that applies to you, please make sure you have it before signing up.

Cookies

Our website runs on the Wix platform — and like many platforms, Wix automatically places a few cookies on visitors’ browsers. These include some basic analytics cookies that track things like visitor numbers and page views.

We’ve also added Google’s Ads Pixel so we can understand which ads bring people here and improve our marketing over time. It just helps us see what’s working (and what’s not).

We try and keep or cookies as uncreepy as possible. Analytics and marketing cookies will only run if you agree to them.
